Dr. Roseberry obtained his B.A. in Chemistry from Northwestern University, his M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University, and his PhD in Pharmacology from Northwestern University. He then did post-doctoral fellowships with Dr. Jeffrey Friedman at The Rockefeller University and Dr. John Williams at The Vollum Institute at Oregon Health and Sciences University. After a brief stint as a Scientist at The Coca-Cola Company, he spent a short time at Marquette University, and then moved to his current position at Georgia State University.
In addition to running his laboratory, Dr. Roseberry currently teaches Neur8000 Intro to Neuroscience and occasionally teaches NEUR4150 Drugs in the Nervous System. He also curently serves as the acting Diretor of Graduate Studies for the Neuroscience Institute.
 
		Maria Claudia ("MC") Manieri

MC is a PhD student in the Neuroscience program. MC received her BA in Neuroscience from Boston University and her MS in Biology from GSU. She is currently working on projects examining VTA neurons expressing MC3Rs at both a behavioral and molecular/cellular level.

Cameron is a student in the Neuroscience PhD program. He received his BS from Georgia College and State University. Cameron then worked in the lab during his time in the Biology MS program at GSU. During his MS, he worked on a project examining the effects of psychostimulants on food self-administration, and he is now using patch-clamp electrophysiology to study changes in VTA dopamine neurons after changes in diet and weight.
 
		Rhianna Fuller-Hall

Rhianna is a student in the Biology PhD program. Rhianna received her BA degree from the University of California, Sacramento, and then worked in the laboratory during her time in the Neuroscience MS program. After a brief stint working at Emory University, Rhianna returned to the lab as a PhD student in the Biology program. She is currently working on a project examining the signaling and regulation of MC3Rs and MC4Rs.
 
		Niti Jani
Niti is an undergraduate Neuroscience major in the Honor's college and is a Presidential Scholar. She is still getting acclimated to the lab and is learning new techniques.
 
		Khushi Kotekar
Khushi is an undergraduate Neuroscience major. She is learning new techniques and helpint MC Manieri with some image analyses.
Rania Mohamed--Rania finished her MS in 2025, and is currently attending medical school.
Charlie Cordero--Charlie finished his BS in 2024 and his MS in 2025 and is currently working as a laboratory technician before applying to PhD programs.
Anika Sabnis--Anika finished her BS in 2024 and her MS in 2025 and is currently working as a clinical research coordinator.
Jeewaka Manamendra--Jeewaka finished his BS in 2023 and his MS in 2024, and is currently attending medical school.
Anna Dunigan--Anna finished her PhD in 2020 and stayed in the lab as a postdoctoral associate until August 2021. She is currently a clinical coordinator at Emory University.
Andrew Swanson--Andrew was a postdoctoral fellow in the lab, and he moved to a position in a microscopy company after leaving the lab.
Jin Kim--Jin finished his MS in 2020 and attended dental school after graduating.
Katherine Stuhrman West--Katherine (Kat) finished her PhD in July 2018. She is current teaching at Georgia Perimeter College at GSU.
Laranci Shanmugarajah--Laranci finished her MS in 2015. She attended Pharmacy school at the University of Texas after leaving the lab.
Nia Mitchell--Nia was an undergraduate researcher in the laboratory and graduated in 2019. She attended medical school at Duke University after graduating.
